Looks like they are still trying to start mining in San Antonio!
Translated from BCS Noticias:

La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). The La Pitalla mining project in San Antonio could obtain permits for its operation by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) at the end of 2019, Argonaut Gold CHIEF Peter Dougherty.

"The San Antonio project [...] in 2012 it was denied then. Things have changed a lot in Baja California (sic), now we see that this project is progressing and anticipate that this process (authorization) will be in the fourth quarter of this year," he said during his participation in the event Americas Gold Forum.

In his speech, the Executive Chairman noted that the company's activities in Mexico have been recognized by Mexican authorities over 7 years, this through the Socially Responsible Company (ESR) badge.

"The Mexican government recognizes this, since for 7 years we have received, the ESR that says that we are doing things properly in their country," he said while explaining that project studies could be completed this year.

This is given in response to the Semarnat, who called for the addition of information on possible environmental impacts, including the effects of the area aquifer, in the municipality of La Paz.

This trust in an upcoming authorization is reflected on the company's own page, as the website presents the San Antonioproject, Baja California Sur as an "advanced exploration project".

Finally, it was detailed that once it enters operation, the La Pitalla mine could produce 74,000 ounces of gold per year, or about 2 tons per year.
